Rainy day in Germany

A day to send your father to the trainstation. To catch a plane, to take a bus, to catch another train to be picked up by his sister for a pleasant evenings meal in the Cotswolds. Well it would have been that kind of day regardless of the weather. But on that subject, it has been cloudy all week, not good for us in the tanning competition, but good for those of us who generally resent melting and schwitzing all over gods green earth and through our shirts, particularly under our bosoms. Breast sweat is never cool on a man.

I digress. For those whom I've not reached (ok, ok, haven't really sent out a mass email), I'm getting out of the Nav. It's been fun, it's been real, it's been... work. Since my religious conversion, I'm against work and so must resign from the Navy who just doesn't respect the requirements of my god. Actually, I'm checking into a sanitarium where they'll cure me of my inability to be serious for more than 30 seconds. Quite hopeful for a cure, the doctors were optimistic.

Anyway, once my treatment is over (post Apr09), I plan to study some Arabic (fine fine Damascus), get a TEFL/TESL certificate so I can teach english overseas and then get a job down in South Africa for the World Cup 2010. Then teach english overseas. Or something like that, depending on how permanent the effects of my treatment are.

here are some sign offs I'm trying out as yet another voice in the blog-o-sphere.

Be well and do good for others

Yours in doing good for others

Look out the pasta is boiling over

Watch out for Tuesdays and that nagging feeling you left the iron on, you didn't but did forget to pay the cable bill again, haven't you figured out how to pay online? Why do you hate technology so much, it may seem intimidating at times, but really it is here to help.

Have a good day and please don't take snipts of this and then quote me out of context, at least take the entire piece out of context.

Bros before hos

All the best, your affectionate

Aaron
